The City of Daly City’s regular City Council meeting on October 26, 2026, included approval of several grant and capital-project items. Council accepted a Daly City Public Library Associates grant for library programs, digital content, and replacement Chromebooks; the grant total was stated as $25,574 during the presentation and $25,754 in the staff report. Council also approved the notice of completion for the John Daly Boulevard–Skyline Boulevard Pedestrian Connection Project. Council also approved an amendment to the FY 2026–27 HUD Action Plan reallocating $500,000 from the Early Learning Center allocation to affordable-housing rehabilitation, to support repairs serving up to 134 low-income households and help meet HUD spending-timeliness requirements. It also approved updating a resolution to reflect the consultant’s current name, Muni Services LLC, for examination of the city’s sales and use tax records. Other proceedings included proclamations recognizing Domestic Violence Awareness Month and National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, public comments, and discussion of community events.
