# AISD School Board Meeting 10-26-26

Argyle ISD’s special Board of Trustees meeting was held October 26, 2026. After opening and closed sessions for attorney consultation and student-identifying information, the board heard public comment from parents concerned about a reversal in the district’s approach to allowing students to remain at Argyle as the district plans a secondary school. Speakers described the uncertainty and its effects on families and suggested inter-district transfers as a possible option.

The board then held a closed-session hearing on a parent’s FDB petition and returned to open session. A motion to postpone the FDB petition and FNG grievance hearings was made, seconded, and approved 5–0. The meeting adjourned at 6:51 p.m. No procurement, contract, or budget activity was identified.
