# Rochester Downtown Development Authority - Oct. 21, 2026

The Rochester Downtown Development Authority’s regular meeting on October 21, 2026, approved a 90-day trial of property-management services for the newly completed Graham facility, beginning November 1. The motion passed by roll-call vote. Under the Rewald proposal, the DDA would pay a $1,500 monthly management fee, plus a 15% fee on separately contracted services such as cleaning, snow removal, landscaping, and maintenance. Rewald is to obtain three bids for each service and present the lowest bid; the DDA retained responsibility for reviewing and signing contracts. Members requested clearer cost estimates and proposed reviewing the arrangement in January before considering a longer-term contract and budget approval by City Council.

The City Manager reported ongoing capital work, including construction of the Community House, replacement of equipment at a tot lot, and road improvements, with Runyon Road work nearing completion. Elizabeth Park received a grant of approximately $700,000 for planning, and CDBG funding is planned for sidewalks connecting nearby facilities and paths. No other DDA contract awards were identified.
