# Conservation Commission - October 22, 2026

The Burlington Conservation Commission meeting on October 22, 2026, continued several public hearings to November 12 and approved the September 16 subcommittee minutes concerning the proposed Eversource Burlington Energy Project. It issued a certificate of compliance for Beth Israel Lahey Health Hospital’s 41 Burlington Mall Road work, with additional plantings planned for spring, and approved findings and an order of conditions for the Town Engineering Department’s Douglas Avenue pump-station and force-main replacement (D file 122-743), both by 5–0 votes. The pump-station project has not gone to bid: funding remains uncertain pending Town Meeting, and the department said bids would not be solicited until funding is available. If approved, bidding may occur in July, construction could be delayed until 2028, and a generator of this size may have a 12-month lead time; no generator selection, project cost, or contract award was reported.

The Commission also reviewed revisions to a proposed dwelling project at Five Ganley Drive, including reduced grading and revised landscaping. No other purchasing decisions or contract awards were identified.
