# USACE Hosts Reverse Industry Day in Suwon

On October 6, 2025, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Far East District (USACE FED) held its first Reverse Industry Day in Suwon, South Korea, with more than 250 attendees. The district gathered industry feedback on Other Transaction Authority (OTA), Progressive Design-Build (PDB), and project delivery to inform acquisition planning for military construction, sustainment, restoration and modernization, and other federal construction work. No solicitation, award, contract value, or procurement contact was announced.

- Contractors in construction and design-build markets can use the district’s focus on OTA and PDB to prepare relevant feedback and demonstrate approaches to faster, cost-effective project delivery without compromising quality, safety, or mission outcomes.
- The event is an industry-engagement signal, not an open procurement. Companies should use future USACE FED outreach and project announcements to identify specific opportunities as they emerge.
- The planned work spans military construction and facility sustainment, restoration, and modernization in the Far East District’s area of responsibility.
