# USTDA Funds Salta Connectivity Plan

On October 22, 2026, the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) awarded technical-assistance funding to the Provincial Government of Salta, Argentina, to develop an implementation plan for digital infrastructure along the Andes-Atlantic Corridor. The plan will address fiber connectivity, data-center capacity, smart-service applications, and emergency-management solutions. USTDA says an RFP will be posted on its overseas-project opportunities page, creating a forthcoming services opportunity for U.S. firms; no funding amount or solicitation deadline was provided.

- U.S. firms with capabilities in fiber networks, data centers, smart services, or emergency-management technology can review their relevant experience and prepare for the RFP.
- Procurement professionals should use USTDA’s overseas-project opportunities page for the solicitation, since the source identifies it as the posting location; no submission date is stated.
- The opportunity combines digital infrastructure planning with potential applications in public services, creating scope for firms offering integrated technical-assistance and technology-planning services.
