# Bellevue Planning Commission - October 22, 2026

The Bellevue Planning Commission met on October 22, 2026. Procurement-related, the planning department reported that an RFQ is open for consultants to update the zoning ordinance and subdivision regulations, with responses due October 30. Staff expects to bring a contract forward for approval early in 2027 and aims to complete the work in about a year or less. No contract amount or prospective vendor was identified, and no award was made at this meeting.

The commission advanced three land-use items to City Council public hearings scheduled for November 17. It approved the Southroads Technology Park replat and site plan for a proposed performance-training facility, which would use both on-site parking and a parking easement; the applicant estimated opening in spring, subject to permitting and construction. It also advanced zoning text amendments for private communications utilities and data centers, with commissioners supporting conditional-use review for these uses in relevant manufacturing districts. No other purchasing decisions or spending allocations were identified.
