# Grays Harbor County Commissioner's Meeting 10/13/26

The Grays Harbor County Commissioners’ regular meeting on October 13, 2026 included a bid opening for the 2026 drift sand removal project. Commissioners approved termination of the McCleary Court Services agreement and adopted revised strategic objectives and a financial roadmap. Three proposed positions were deferred to the November 3 non-action meeting amid concerns about a projected $12 million budget deficit; public defense also raised a need for larger office space, but no funding decision was made. A proposed interlocal agreement with Thurston and Lewis counties was pulled from the agenda. No contract award was announced for the drift sand removal bids.
