# SCM BOA 10 20 26

The Snellville Board of Appeals held a special meeting on October 20, 2026, and approved three variance requests. BOA 26-02 concerned a commercial sign area increase for Bob’s Discount Furniture at Presidential Commons, from 157.5 to 195.4 square feet; the board approved it with staff recommendations, including obtaining a sign permit and certificate of completion within 60 days. BOA 26-03 approved reducing the rear setback from 40 feet to 30 feet for a patio cover on Brook Hill Way, and BOA 26-04 approved reducing the rear setback from 36 feet to 27 feet 8 inches for replacement and expansion of an existing sunroom on Glennhurst Drive.

The board also discussed drainage and completion requirements for the residential projects. Staff previewed future appeal cases, including a larger pavilion/shop proposal and a proposed commercial daycare facility. No contracts, purchasing decisions, budget allocations, or other procurement activity were identified.
