# October 21, 2026 Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting

The City of Bettendorf Planning and Zoning Commission met on October 21, 2026. Commissioners approved the September 16 meeting minutes and unanimously approved case 26-045, a replat of property at 3738 and 3756 Monks Road. Staff said the replat would place an existing structure fully within one lot and was consistent with the land-use designation and zoning; existing driveways will remain. The commission also approved case 26-046, a site development plan for a proposed 6,440-square-foot, four-bay cold-storage building for contractor storage at 640 29th Street. The plan includes parking, stormwater detention, and a retaining wall; staff recommended approval, and a nearby resident voiced support, citing erosion control. No contract awards, purchasing decisions, budget allocations, or other procurement activity were identified. The commission also noted that public input on a master plan for the I-80/Middle Road area would begin soon.
