# August 3, 2026 - Planning Commission Meeting

The City of Bartlett Planning Commission met August 3, 2026. Commissioners approved the construction plan for Phase 4 of the Union Depot residential mixed-use development at 6896 Highway 70, including subdivision of 14.166 acres into 51 detached single-family lots. The broader 73.9-acre development is planned for 623 dwelling units, including single-family homes, townhomes, and flats. The commission also approved the related Phase 4 plan, with staff-recommended conditions; engineering staff requested removal of condition 22. The applicant agreed to the staff conditions and to include the previously approved front-loaded parking template on the plat. Both applications passed by vote.

The commission also approved a revised site plan for Ellendale Baptist Church’s gymnasium addition, which will serve as a fellowship hall and includes stormwater detention improvements and a dumpster enclosure. During discussion, the applicant agreed that two nearby spaces could be striped as accessible parking. The commission also approved the prior meeting minutes. No contract awards, purchases, funding allocations, or other procurement activity were identified.
