# Lockheed Martin Awards TIGHITCO $500M Berlin Contract

Lockheed Martin has awarded TIGHITCO a reported **$500 million U.S. Navy-related manufacturing contract** for unmanned vehicles designed to emit false radar signals that mimic Navy ships. TIGHITCO plans to expand production at its Berlin, Connecticut facility, with production lines expected to operate by late 2027 and approximately 40 jobs anticipated. Connecticut is providing a $500,000 grant to support the expansion. The available signals do not specify the award date, contract number, or full contract terms, so suppliers should verify those details before making assumptions about subcontracting or follow-on work.

- The award identifies TIGHITCO as the manufacturer and Lockheed Martin as the awarding contractor; the U.S. Navy is the end-user associated with the work.
- The planned facility expansion and production ramp create potential supply-chain relevance for firms serving military manufacturing programs, though no specific subcontracting opportunities are identified.
- Companies evaluating participation should distinguish the **$500 million contract** from Connecticut’s separate $500,000 expansion grant and seek the full announcement for scope and procurement details.
