# WGSD BoE Meeting 10/20/2026

The Webster Groves School District Board of Education meeting on October 20, 2026, included updates on school improvement plans and long-range facilities planning. The facilities presentation reviewed work funded through the previously approved $45 million Prop S bond, which generated about $51 million including premiums and interest. More than $22 million supported curricular projects, alongside upgrades to roofs, boilers, HVAC systems, doors, windows, masonry, safety and security, and school spaces. The district also reported an approximately $110,000 investment in two assessments and described maintenance and asset-management systems, including work-order and scheduling tools from Master Library. No new contract award, bid approval, or vendor selection was presented for a vote at this meeting.

Facilities staff said the 2021 assessment identified more than $100 million in maintenance and repair needs, with costs likely affected by subsequent inflation. Remaining priorities include roof and HVAC replacements, masonry and building-envelope work, playgrounds, accessibility, and other curricular spaces; staff recommended updating facility assessments as the district plans future capital investments. The board also approved a St. Louis County Election Board cooperation agreement and resolution, extending the arrangement into 2032, and approved the consent agenda. A custodial pay increase approved at a prior meeting was reported to have helped fill most vacant custodial positions. Public comments advocated for Prop W, but the transcript records no board spending decision related to that proposal.
