# VA Seeks Nationwide Air Ambulance Brokers

The Department of Veterans Affairs’ Veterans Transportation Program and Network Contracting Office 20 will hold a virtual Industry Day on December 10–11, 2026, to gather market input for a planned nationwide air ambulance brokerage procurement with supporting ground transportation. The VA anticipates making three to five firm-fixed-price multiple-award IDIQ contracts covering fixed-wing and rotary-wing air ambulance brokerage. This is market research, not a solicitation; interested contractors should submit a capability statement by November 5, 2026 (**15 days remaining**).

- The opportunity is relevant to firms with nationwide medical transportation brokerage, dispatch, accreditation, and subcontractor-management capabilities, including those able to coordinate supporting ground transportation.
- Companies can submit capability statements and inquiries to primary contracting contact Wendy Duval at wendy.duval@va.gov. The virtual Industry Day is scheduled for December 10–11, 2026.
- The anticipated three-to-five-award IDIQ structure signals that the VA is exploring a multiple-provider approach. Interested firms can use the market-research period to communicate relevant capabilities before a solicitation is issued.
