# DHS Orders OpenWorks Counter-UAS System

OpenWorks Engineering received a purchase order to provide its Vision Pace counter-uncrewed aircraft system (C-UAS) to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security through Amentum’s DoD Information Analysis Center Multiple Award Contract (DoD IAC MAC). The system supports drone detection, tracking, identification, and target-location capabilities. The order’s value, quantity, deployment locations, and schedule were not disclosed, and the signals do not identify a new open solicitation.

- The order shows DHS using a DoD-led IDIQ vehicle for C-UAS procurement; authorized federal agencies can access this vehicle for relevant requirements.
- Companies pursuing similar work should distinguish between this specific purchase order and future competitions under the MAC; no open solicitation is identified in these signals.
- C-UAS firms and potential subcontractors can use the award as an example of demand for deployable sensing and tracking capabilities for events and other sensitive sites.
