# Eutelsat Network Solutions Earns CMMC Level 2 Certification

Eutelsat Network Solutions announced on October 20, 2026, that it earned CMMC Level 2 certification after independent assessment of its internal and external enclaves, including an audit by an accredited C3PAO. The certification validates its ability to handle Controlled Unclassified Information and Federal Contract Information and may strengthen its position for U.S. government satellite-connectivity work where a solicitation requires CMMC Level 2. The announcements identify no specific contract, solicitation, value, or award.

- Procurement teams evaluating Eutelsat Network Solutions for defense satellite-connectivity requirements can compare the certification’s scope with the CMMC level and covered environments specified in the solicitation.
- Satellite and telecommunications contractors may consider the certification when assessing Eutelsat Network Solutions as a potential participant in bids involving sensitive federal information; it does not itself establish an award or guarantee eligibility for every requirement.
- The development highlights CMMC Level 2 as a relevant qualification for companies pursuing DoD-related work involving CUI or FCI.
