# Planning Board - 10/19/26

The Tewksbury Planning Board met on October 19, 2026. The board unanimously approved a minor site-plan modification for 913 East Street, reducing the proposed building from about 7,500 square feet to approximately 5,757 square feet; the existing special-permit conditions remain, and members emphasized maintaining the site while construction is pending. The board also unanimously approved a 945-square-foot family suite at 125 French Street. For 30 East Street, it approved 4–1 converting the commercial unit to an affordable residential unit in perpetuity, but did not approve the proposed change from a two-bedroom to a three-bedroom unit. A separate 1177 East Street request was postponed because it was not on the posted agenda. The 2027 meeting calendar was tabled for consideration at the next meeting.

The town planner reported that approval of the MBTA Communities Act at Fall Town Meeting allows the town to seek grants it was previously prohibited from receiving. No grant award, contract, purchase, bid, or other procurement action was identified.
