# Lithuania Deploys Lockheed Martin Radars

Lithuania has begun deploying three Lockheed Martin AN/TPS-77 Multi-Role Radars purchased through a roughly $52.6 million U.S. Foreign Military Sales contract awarded in September 2023. The United States is contributing more than $29 million through its Building Partner Capacity program. Deliveries and contract work continue through February 2027, and the radars will strengthen Lithuanian air surveillance while contributing data to NATO’s integrated air and missile defense network.

- The award is already in place, so this is not a new open solicitation. Contractors can assess potential follow-on work in support, training, spare parts, and radar interoperability.
- The continuing delivery and support period through February 2027 gives firms relevant to FMS execution and air-defense systems a defined timeframe for planning their capabilities.
- The NATO network connection makes interoperability with allied air-defense systems a key consideration for companies pursuing related support or integration work.
