# Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting, 10/15/2026

The City of Laredo Planning & Zoning Commission met on October 15, 2026, and considered conditional-use permits, zoning changes, a master-plan revision, and subdivision plats. The commission approved an auto-sales conditional-use application and an amendment to an amusement-redemption-machine permit. It also approved a change from R3 to M1 zoning for a demolition-company property at 2315 and 254 Winding Drive, contrary to staff’s recommendation; one commissioner opposed. Other approved items included an R3-to-R2 change for single-family residential use, a cabinet-shop conditional-use item with an application amendment, a revision to the Chart Ranch East and West master plan, and preliminary and final plats, generally subject to staff recommendations.

Staff noted that Laredo would hold one Planning & Zoning meeting in December, on December 10, and that the City Council’s holiday recess could add about a month to zoning cases moving through that process. No procurement activity, contract awards, or spending decisions were identified.
