# Potsdam Completes $5.31M Revitalization Projects

New York State announced on October 15, 2026, that three Downtown Revitalization Initiative projects in Potsdam are complete, representing a combined $5.31 million investment. The projects include $2.78 million in streetscape work, $2.48 million for the Raquette Riverwalk and Fall Island Art and Skatepark, and a $52,000 downtown branding campaign. The announcement reports completed work, not an open solicitation; for procurement professionals and contractors, it demonstrates state and municipal spending on public-realm infrastructure, accessibility, recreation, and downtown development.

- The work included sidewalks, accessible crossings, curbing, lighting, landscaping, stormwater drainage, waterfront access, a walking loop, a skatepark, wayfinding signs, and banners.
- The Downtown Revitalization Initiative funding illustrates demand for a range of construction, site improvement, public-space, and place-branding services at the state and municipal levels.
- Companies can use the completed projects as a market signal when assessing similar public-realm work, but this announcement provides no current bid opportunity or solicitation deadline.
