# Scranton Zoning Hearing Board 10-14-26

The Scranton Zoning Hearing Board met on October 14, 2026, to consider zoning applications. No procurement activity, contracts, or spending decisions were identified. The board continued Revolution Mexicana LLC’s application concerning required parking and an outdoor tent to its next meeting, voting 4–0 on the continuance. Before then, staff will seek clarification from the city law department on whether the Junior Invaders can legally authorize parking on the adjacent lot. The hearing also covered existing site concerns, including parking layout, a fence and dumpster, and compliance with prior conditions; those issues remain for further consideration.

The board voted 4–0 to approve Sean Bingham’s variance to convert a condemned three-unit building at 1319–1321 Luzerne Street into a four-unit building. It also voted 4–0 to approve Seven Brew’s parking variance for a proposed drive-through coffee stand at a shopping center. The project would reduce the center’s parking supply from 335 spaces to 285; the applicant’s traffic engineer testified that the remaining supply should be adequate. The board also granted extensions for two other matters, including a final extension for one applicant.
