# Conservation Commission Meeting - October 14, 2026

The Peabody Conservation Commission met on October 14, 2026, to review wetland permits, certificates of compliance, permit extensions, and enforcement matters. No procurement, contract awards, vendor selections, or spending decisions were identified. The Commission continued the 39 Wallace Street hearing to November 18 to seek further direction on stormwater treatment and runoff; issued an order of conditions for retaining-wall and pool work at 30 LeBlanc Drive, with upland-only construction and pool-related safeguards; and approved an order of conditions for 90 Winona Street contingent on a revised plan showing pool dimensions, the driveway, and erosion controls, with no on-site soil stockpiling and excavated soil to be removed.

The Commission accepted a withdrawal, approved several two-year permit extensions, and issued or approved partial certificates of compliance for specified properties. It continued the 25R Newbury Street certificate request pending repairs to erosion damage and plantings, and directed the owner of 18 Pearl Street to seek an amendment to the existing order before proposed drainage and grading changes proceed. The Commission also withdrew an enforcement order at 147 Summit Street, issued an enforcement order for work at 15 Farnam Avenue, and approved an enforcement resolution and administrative minor-permit process for work at 4 Tammy Lane. Other enforcement and amendment matters were continued to later meetings. No policy changes affecting future procurement were discussed.
