# City Council Voting Meeting - October 13, 2026

The Prescott City Council voting meeting on October 13, 2026, approved several spending and contracting items. By 7–0 votes, the council approved an Evergreen compensation study (item 9B), a five-year ambulance transportation contract with Lifeline Ambulance Services, Inc., with automatic two-year renewals and a 120-day cancellation provision, and a $350,000 budget transfer related to fiscal-year 2026 appropriations. Staff said total spending from the rodeo grant was $1,427,277, with the transfer providing a buffer for audit adjustments. The council also approved an owner-transfer Series 6 liquor license for Jake Ryan’s and a residential plat; these were not procurement awards.

After extensive public comment, the council approved the rodeo and fairgrounds master plan 7–0, with the plan effective upon execution of a lease with Prescott Frontier Days Rodeo and a 20-year term. The plan estimates $48.2 million for all listed projects, including $5.4 million assigned to the city; approval establishes a long-term framework, not authorization or a commitment to spend those amounts. The city manager noted that utility work is a separate project, and council members called for continued oversight and coordination with property users. The meeting also included recreation and library updates, including an extension of the parks and recreation plan survey period.
