# City Council Meeting   Tuesday 2025 03 25

The City of Eau Claire Common Council met on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. It unanimously approved a subdivision infrastructure agreement with Meadows at Otter Creek LLC for street and utility improvements associated with Grips Custom Shops, including roadway, curb and gutter, storm sewer, and sidewalk work. A sidewalk deferral request was discussed, but the resolution was described as including sidewalks on both sides; no separate deferral approval was recorded. The Council also unanimously renewed a three-year use agreement with Caprios Investments LLC for the Here We Grow Again consignment sale at Hobbs Municipal Ice Center, with updated annual fees and no other substantial changes, and a five-year shared-services agreement with the Eau Claire Area School District covering facility use, fees and invoicing, recreation equipment, and maintenance services.

The Council unanimously authorized acceptance of a donation from Jonah to fund Election Day transit rides on April 1; paratransit costs were estimated at about $300, with a corresponding $300 budget amendment for fixed-route transit revenue. It also approved, 10–1, a revised appointment process for business improvement district boards. Other actions included a tree-ordinance update resolution, parking and traffic-control changes, and land-use matters. No competitive solicitation, vendor selection, or major procurement award was identified.
