# Delaware County TID Meeting - October 14, 2026

The Delaware County, Ohio Transportation Improvement District (TID) Board met on October 14, 2026. The board approved the July 8 meeting minutes and received a staff update on active and proposed transportation projects. The Center Village Peanut Roundabout is open, with a second roundabout targeted to open around Thanksgiving. Interchange Project Phase A is progressing ahead of schedule under Miller Brothers, with completion currently estimated for the third quarter of 2027; right-of-way work continues for Phases B and C. The Orange Road grade-separation project has an estimated construction cost approaching $50 million and is targeting a 2028 start. Staff reported approximately $10 million in MORPC-attributable funding, $21 million from the Federal Railroad Administration, and $7 million in state funding, with right-of-way acquisition and design continuing. Stockwell Road is complete and expected to finish under its contract amount; final costs and township invoices are still being determined.

The board voted to approve a TID commitment of up to $750,000 toward Phase 3 of Orange Township’s Bill Canyon Road project, estimated at $6.5 million, with the township prepared to fund the remaining amount. Other projects discussed—including Bunny Station Road, Plum Road, and Vans Valley Road—remain in planning or design, with no TID funding action taken on them. The engineer also raised concern about the potential effect of a gas-tax holiday on county road funding, noting that public-agency recipients were being made whole through early January and that the issue may warrant further attention. The treasurer reported a cash balance of $3,081,630.70 and a clean audit with an Auditor of State Award for Excellence.
