# Board Session 10/13/2026

The Seneca County Commissioners’ October 13, 2026 session included updates on a proposed second USDA-supported revolving loan project. Commissioners also noted that bids for the agriculture building renovation would open October 20, and that the youth center parking-lot project was planned to start October 19. The county discussed North Central Area Transportation’s interest in expanding its lease agreement and potentially installing a propane filling station, with further details to come as agreements develop.

Commissioners approved supplemental appropriations and fund transfers, including $25,000 for a juvenile probate technology grant, a $273,829.18 transfer to the capital projects fund, $951.15 for a sheriff’s office metal detector, and $4,872.50 for jail restraint equipment associated with the jail remodel; a $14,042 equipment appropriation was moved from the general fund to the capital projects fund. They also approved a Public Children Services Association of Ohio agreement for four people at $10,290 each, totaling $41,160 through June 30, 2027; a Supreme Court of Ohio Court Improvement Program Technology Grant agreement; and an Ohio Start Program services MOU with Sandusky Artisans Recovery Community Center, retroactive to September 1, 2026.
