# Supervisors' Meeting 10/13/2026

Millcreek Township Board of Supervisors’ regular meeting, October 13, 2026: The board received MW Studios’ feasibility study for a proposed joint volunteer/career fire station serving the Bell Valley district. The study evaluated seven sites and identified 4728 Lake Pleasant Road as the preferred location; the concept is approximately 15,935 square feet, with an estimated total cost of $13.6 million to $18.9 million if design began in January 2027. The presentation was informational, and no construction award or project authorization was made. The board also voted unanimously to deny a rezoning petition associated with a proposed 48-unit low-income housing development, following the Planning Commission’s recommendation to deny it.

The board approved several procurement and funding items, including an animal-resource vehicle upfit from Ibis Emergency Vehicles for $10,453; carpet replacement, with Lakefront Flooring recommended at $4,214.14; a budgeted Welder Supply welder for $4,228.99; storm-sewer pipe lining by Insight Pipe Contracting for $19,390.50 under a Co-Stars contract; a V-Net Dell computer for $1,771; and five sets of firefighter turnout gear from Reading Fire Equipment for $26,290.60 under a Sourcewell contract. It also approved a $13,377 federal Bureau of Justice Assistance grant toward a police server costing just over $42,000, with the township’s roughly $28,000 share expected in the next year’s budget, and accepted an Erie County EMS scholarship. Other actions included approval of the bills, routine records disposal, and reductions or release of subdivision and stormwater financial securities. The board also voted to support the EMTA safety campaign; no other major contract award or capital-project authorization was identified.
