# Blount County Commission Rules Committee | 10-13-26

The Blount County Commission Rules Committee met on October 13, 2026. Commissioner Jones was elected chair and Commissioner Davis vice chair. The committee approved the agenda and the February 25, 2025 minutes, each by four votes, although members noted that none of them had attended the meeting reflected in those minutes.

The committee took no procurement or spending-related action. Discussion of the Board of Commissioners’ rules was deferred because of limited time and a scheduling conflict with the Planning Commission. A motion to schedule a further meeting passed with four votes; the next Rules Committee meeting was set for October 29 at 5:00 p.m.
