# Infrastructure & PBAdvisory Regular Meetings 10/12/2026

The Oklahoma County Infrastructure and PBA Advisory committees met on October 12, 2026. The Infrastructure Committee approved a roughly $30,000 change-order item to add internal roof access at the Midwest City Sheriff’s Office, where a $380,000 roofing contract is already in place. The committee received updates on detention-center elevators (with the Jail Trust expected to cover an estimated $37,000–$38,000 cost), courthouse and juvenile-justice elevator work, and capital projects. A courthouse flood update reported $281,866.41 in repair and cleanup costs to date, insurance proceeds received of approximately $2.65 million, and about $1.13 million in recoverable depreciation; the committee deferred direction on the remaining claim and repairs to a later meeting. The assessor-space work and courthouse projects were also reviewed, including a reported $1.5 million budget for asbestos removal across the fourth floor.

The PBA Advisory Committee received an update that its building project remained on schedule for July 1, 2027, with ARPA-funded work tested and completed and the project expected to be fully billed against ARPA funds during October. The county also reported a six-month temporary lease for the District Attorney’s office costing a little over $341,000, with future monthly costs still to be determined. Metro 1 concrete repairs were progressing, with reopening anticipated the following week if testing continued successfully; powerwashing and an elastic coating at the entrances were being considered for future bidding, with no award reported. The committees approved their 2027 meeting dates and received the owners’ representative’s reports; no other contract award was identified.
