# AISD Board Meeting 10/12/26

Alice ISD Board of Trustees meeting, October 12, 2026. The board approved American Contracting USA as contractor for Phase 1 of the district roofing replacement project, using the Choice Partners cooperative. The contract is not to exceed $1,568,294, with work expected to begin November 2, 2026, and finish by June 2027; four proposals were received. The board also approved a $44,000 renewal of the district’s natatorium agreement for swim, dive, and cross-country activities, a reduction of about $16,000 from the prior year. On the Memorial Stadium project, trustees approved the certificate of substantial completion while retaining approximately $2.4 million pending punch-list completion and final review of any liquidated damages. The district reported $2.399 million in interest earned on 2024 bond proceeds and estimated about $250,000 would remain for the total project.
