# Scott County Planning Commission Meeting: October 12th, 2026

The Scott County Board of Adjustment and Planning Advisory Commission met on October 12, 2026. The Board of Adjustment approved a variance for application PL 2026-067, allowing two parcels to be combined with a lot width of 216 feet instead of the required 300 feet. The Planning Commission approved a consent-agenda rezoning of 14.76 acres from RR-1C to RR-1 and approved application 2026-064 to rezone five acres from RR-1 to RR-2. Public comments on the latter application raised concerns about periodic flooding and septic-system placement; county staff described applicable review and inspection requirements.

The planning manager also reported that three previously considered actions had passed, including a final plat for View Industrial Park Third Edition and a rezoning of 111 acres from A-1 to A-3. No procurement, contracts, spending decisions, or budget allocations were identified.
