# 10/12/26 Drainage Board

The Warrick County Drainage Board met on October 12, 2026. It approved $511.62 in claims—$400 to Mory Joel and $111.62 for surveyor gas. The board also approved drainage plans for the 63-lot Jenner Farms subdivision, finding that the proposal met or exceeded county requirements. It approved the Grove subdivision plans subject to final review and remaining drainage details, including calculations for three box culverts and maintenance and safety access to the basin. The board approved the Victoria National clubhouse and parking-lot redevelopment drainage proposal, which reduces overall impervious surface and was determined not to require a drainage plan.

Staff reported progress under the Baker Tilly stormwater-rate-fee-increase contract: residential, mobile-home, and church data had been sent, while industrial and commercial data remained in progress. No new contract award, bid approval, or vendor selection was recorded. Staff also noted that two updated construction stormwater general permits had been released for study and public comment and are scheduled to take effect December 18, 2026. The board received updates on alleged drainage-easement violations involving logging near Cole’s Creek and a CenterPoint transmission-line pole near the creek; enforcement and follow-up were underway, with no spending action taken on those matters.
