# Plan Commission | October 8, 2026

The Fort Worth City Plan Commission held its October 8, 2026 public meeting on subdivision, roadway-network, corridor-planning, and Panther Island development matters. It approved the September minutes and withdrew street-vacation case VA26-005. The commission approved the Nance Ranch revision and block-face-length waiver (PP230001), approved a Marine Creek Parkway alignment change (MT260304), and approved a waiver allowing an industrial development to use a cul-de-sac (FS26189). For the Walsh Ranch/Matt Canyon Road master roadway alignment change (MT26003), a motion to continue failed, as did a motion to recommend approval; the commission’s recommendation of denial will go to City Council.

The commission also heard the City’s McCart Avenue corridor study, funded through the 2022 bond program, and received a presentation on proposed Panther Island form-based code revisions, including consolidating nine subdistricts into two and updating design and signage standards. It unanimously recommended the Panther Island amendments to City Council for adoption, with a council date planned for November 10. No contract awards, vendor selections, or other procurement actions were identified.
