# Little Rock Planning Commission Meeting 10.8.26

The City of Little Rock Planning Commission met on October 8, 2026. The commission approved the consent agenda, including a rezoning recommendation for property at 44716 Springer Boulevard, revocation of the Posh Automotive PCD at 8989 Colonel Glenn Road, and the 2027 commission calendar; several other items were deferred to November. It recommended annexation of approximately 216.96 acres for Fletcher Valley and 513 acres for Chenal Valley West. Speakers raised concerns about development impacts, drainage, wildlife, roads, and buffers. The commission also approved a 90-lot preliminary plat on Alexander Road and a two-home PDR on College Street.

For other regular items, the commission approved a three-unit residential PDR on West 18th Street with a waiver of boundary-street improvements and a request that the City Board consider assisting with improvements beyond the applicant’s property; the discussion cited an estimated $50,000–$60,000 cost for the additional road work. It approved one group-home permit with occupancy limited to six residents and two staff, conditioned on no registered sex offenders being housed there, but denied a second group-home permit with the same proposed occupancy limit. No contract awards, purchases, or other procurement activity were identified.
