# HawkEye 360 Strengthens Federal Business

HawkEye 360 appointed John Monahan, formerly vice president of space protection programs at Lockheed Martin, to lead its U.S. government business as it seeks to expand its federal and intelligence-community footprint in space-based RF data, signal processing, and analytics. Government work represented 61% of the company’s $117.6 million in 2025 revenue. The announcement identifies no specific solicitation or contract award, but it signals a strategic focus on government customers including the NRO, NGA, Space Force, and U.S. Air Force.

- Contractors serving these customers can assess whether HawkEye 360’s growth plans create opportunities for teaming or complementary support in RF data, signal processing, and analytics; no specific procurement opportunity is announced.
- Procurement teams and industry stakeholders should distinguish the company’s stated growth strategy from a contract action: the appointment does not itself indicate a new award or requirement.
- HawkEye 360 COO Todd Probert said, “Growing our U.S. government business is a central part of HawkEye 360's corporate growth strategy, and it requires dedicated leadership focused on the needs of government and intelligence community customers.”
