# Oklahoma City Employee Retirement System - 10-8-2026

The Oklahoma City Employee Retirement System Board of Trustees meeting on October 8, 2026, approved the December 31, 2025 actuarial valuation and received the investment consultant’s report. The actuary reported a 92.4% funded ratio, a $77.155 million unfunded liability, and a city contribution requirement of 9.88% of payroll, below the 10% cap. The consultant reported a total fund market value of about $1.622 billion at the end of September 2026 and recommended private-equity commitments of $12.5 million each to Clayton, Dubilier & Rice and Thompson Street; motions for agenda items A and B passed. The consultant also described a pacing plan of roughly $35 million in private-equity commitments per year toward a 15% target allocation.

The board approved a fee-for-service agreement with Dr. Shawn Robertson to conduct fitness-for-duty assessments when requested. It also approved trustee Taylor Atherton’s training and travel request and an executive director travel request. Other passed items included the claims docket and routine pension and benefit matters. The board adopted a resolution of appreciation for former trustee Randy Thurman. No construction or other municipal capital procurement was discussed.
