# Watch the Latest Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting (10-7-26)

The Lake Havasu City Planning and Zoning Commission met on October 7, 2026. The commission approved Resolution 26-08 (ID 26-5412), granting Matcha Bakery a major conditional use permit to operate a mobile food unit at 1890 Acoma Boulevard West in the C-2 general commercial district. The trailer may occupy up to three parking spaces, subject to conditions including a one-year permit term, limits on placement and overnight storage, required licenses and inspections, and a new permit application if the operation expands to include grease cooking or hot-food preparation. Commissioners discussed parking and ADA-space impacts; no procurement or spending actions were identified.

Staff also reported that City Council approved text amendments concerning residential care facilities in response to changes in state law. A voter information packet for the November 3 election, including information on the general plan, was being distributed. The October 21 commission meeting was canceled because there were no items scheduled; a possible November 4 planned development amendment remained tentative.
