# Committee on Streets and Services 10-7-26

At its October 7, 2026 public hearing, Philadelphia City Council’s Committee on Streets and Services considered Bill 260762, which would establish a one-hour truck loading zone, available all day Monday through Sunday, on the west side of 1716 Frankford Avenue between Palmer Street and East Columbia Avenue. The Department of Streets said it did not oppose the measure, and the committee received a letter of support from the Fishtown Neighborhood Association.

The committee voted to report Bill 260762 with a favorable recommendation and to suspend Council rules to permit its first reading at the next Council session. Bills 260641 and 260705 were held at their sponsors’ requests. No procurement, contract, or spending activity was identified.
