# Design Review Board 07/23/2026 4pm

The Town of Summerville Design Review Board meeting on July 23, 2026, reviewed architectural and site plans for several development projects. The board approved the June draft minutes and provided design feedback on proposed townhouse revisions and the Six Oaks multifamily project; those conceptual reviews did not result in votes. Final approvals with conditions were granted for reviewed site-plan items, including Lincoln Square and a separate small-site project. Conditions and requested revisions addressed landscaping, sidewalks, screening, building details, and accessibility. A therapy-clinic proposal also received approval of requested site exceptions, including reduced landscape-buffer width and front-yard parking.

The board conducted a conceptual review of a proposed McDonald’s redevelopment at 805 Bacon’s Bridge Road. Members asked the applicant to revisit the architecture, tree preservation, site grading, and delivery access before returning; no approval vote was taken. One applicant reported signing a contract with a private waste-disposal company for service at a development, but no Town procurement, contract award, public spending allocation, or bid approval was identified. No contract amounts were stated.
