# Planning & Zoning Commission - October 6, 2026

The Village of Roselle Planning & Zoning Commission met on October 6, 2026. The commission recommended Village Board approval of the final plat for the Lucky Estate subdivision, a roughly three-to-four-acre residential development with privately owned streets and water and sewer infrastructure. Staff reported that final engineering plans had been approved, the layout was unchanged from the previously approved preliminary plat, and this was the final subdivision step before construction. The commission also recommended approval of a variation for the driveway at 41 W. Bryn Mawr Avenue, allowing the existing side-loading driveway width of up to 35 feet despite the 24-foot zoning limit; commissioners approved the findings of fact and recommended approval to the Village Board.

The commission considered a zoning text amendment to consolidate and clarify recreational-vehicle rules, including limiting storage to one RV per single-family dwelling, requiring storage on a paved surface, and increasing the maximum vehicle width from 8 to 8.5 feet. The commission approved the findings of fact, with one no vote recorded, and recommended approval to the Village Board. No contracts, purchasing decisions, budget allocations, or other procurement activity were identified.
