# Army Opens K1000ULE Marketplace Procurement Route

On October 6, 2026, Kraus Hamdani Aerospace’s K1000ULE solar unmanned aircraft became award-ready on the U.S. Army Applications Laboratory’s DevX Autonomy Marketplace. Eligible federal agencies with a funded requirement can use the marketplace to review the solution and coordinate scope and milestones with KHA, potentially avoiding a new competitive solicitation; any purchase remains subject to the agency’s contracting review and ordering authority. The 42.5-pound aircraft has a reported 75-hour flight-endurance record, and KHA has prior Army and AFCENT procurement activity involving the system.

- Agencies considering the K1000ULE should confirm that their requirement, funding, ordering authority, and acquisition rules support use of the marketplace; access requests can be made with a .mil or .gov email address.
- The listing creates a potential route for federal buyers to procure the aircraft without launching a new competition, but it does not guarantee an award or bypass contracting review.
- KHA’s prior **$270 million AFCENT IDIQ ceiling** and **$20 million Army procurement** provide procurement context. Contractors may assess supported teaming or integration opportunities while clarifying scope and milestones with KHA and the contracting activity.
