# Historic Preservation Commission 09/01/26 | O'Fallon, Missouri

The O’Fallon Historic Preservation Commission met on September 1, 2026. Commissioners amended the agenda and approved the June 2 minutes; no procurement contract, bid, or spending motion was identified. The commission discussed the Log Cabin Museum’s artifact inventory and digitization, including using an ADA-compliant video for online access rather than Matterport, which is not currently ADA-compliant. Members also reported that educational brochures had received approval and discussed distributing them to hotels and businesses, with printing planned in stages; no printing cost or vendor was specified.

The commission discussed an existing funding allocation for eight traffic-box art installations, with locations and artwork still to be determined and possible involvement from the Arts Commission and local student artists. Members also reviewed the parade float, for which Lowe’s donated materials and a rental company donated a trailer, and shared upcoming preservation training and community events. No new procurement decision or expenditure was approved during the meeting.
