The presentation cited assessed valuation of approximately $1.611 billion and an estimated operating-revenue increase of more than $12 million compared with the prior year. The tax-rate actions were approved by board vote.

At the special meeting, the board approved a resolution authorizing early redemption of a portion of the district’s outstanding Series 2016 general obligation bonds, scheduled to mature in 2030–2032, using up to $1 million from the debt service fund.
