# Digital Compass Expands Lifecycle IT Services

DigiCap has rebranded its portfolio company Govplace as Digital Compass and appointed DJ Oreb as CEO, expanding the business from federal IT procurement into lifecycle services for federal, state and local, and commercial customers. DigiCap also plans additional investment and strategic acquisitions. The announcement identifies no solicitation, contract award, or specific buying opportunity, but signals a broader services platform that procurement teams and contractors may encounter in the IT market.

- Digital Compass is positioning itself to support technology across its lifecycle, from procurement decisions through secure retirement; buyers can assess how that scope aligns with current and future IT services needs.
- Federal contractors may find Digital Compass relevant as a potential competitor or teaming candidate as its platform expands; the announcement does not specify contract vehicles, agency customers, or acquisition targets.
- DigiCap’s stated plans for investment and strategic acquisitions indicate potential consolidation in the IT services market. Contractors can evaluate how that may affect competitive positioning and prospective teaming relationships.
