# GSA Launches America.gov Services Portal

The White House launched America.gov on September 30, 2026, as a unified federal portal for information and services. An executive order directs agencies to identify and integrate covered public-facing services, including services used by more than 100,000 people in a 12-month period, with Login.gov authentication and connections for services, forms, and APIs. GSA, the National Design Studio, and OMB are leading implementation. Passport services are planned for December 2026, with benefits functions expected in early 2027. No solicitation, contract award, funding amount, or procurement schedule has been announced, so this is a market signal rather than an active bid opportunity.

- Contractors offering digital-service integration, identity management, API development, AI-enabled support, cybersecurity, or privacy engineering may find future work as agencies connect services to the portal.
- The reported Login.gov browser identifier, described as having a nominal 20-year lifetime and being added to analytics events, highlights privacy assessment, data-retention, and analytics-governance considerations for implementers.
- Companies can use the planned passport and benefits integrations, along with GSA’s implementation role, to assess relevant capabilities and prepare for potential requirements; the signals provide no procurement dates or funding to support bid planning yet.
