# Governing Body Committee Meeting

The Santa Fe Governing Body meeting was held September 30, 2026. The main procurement- and funding-related actions concerned airport projects. The governing body approved ratification of a $122,976 U.S. Department of Transportation budget adjustment for an air traffic control tower siting study, increasing WIP design funding by that amount. It also approved acceptance of a $10 million FAA grant for the terminal expansion project and a matching budget adjustment allocating $9 million to WIP construction and $1 million to WIP design. Both actions passed by roll-call vote; no vendors or contract awards were identified.

The governing body also approved an ordinance restricting use of city property for immigration-enforcement purposes and requiring notice of immigration enforcement and I-9 audits. The Hopewell-Man neighborhood stabilization plan passed on the consent agenda. An appeal concerning a proposed addition to a historic property was denied, and a cannabis-business appeal was withdrawn. No additional procurement awards or purchasing decisions were identified.
