# IRC-NAACP/SDIRC Workgroup Meeting 5 p.m. 9/29/26

The School District of Indian River County’s IRC–NAACP/SDIRC Workgroup met on September 29, 2026, to review mediation scheduling and progress on KPIs 8.10–8.12. For KPI 8.10, members found the available information on extracurricular activities, bus schedules, and student participation incomplete and insufficient to assess nondiscriminatory access to busing. The group agreed to focus on improving data collection going forward, with district staff working to consolidate relevant information and the workgroup revisiting the KPI with additional data, including at a January status update. No vote was taken on the KPI.
