### Description

<p>The Department of War (DoW) Office of Industrial Base Growth (IBG) in conjunction with its marketplace<br />
manager, the Applied Research Institute (ARI), and supported by the Washington Headquarters Services<br />
Acquisition Directorate (WHS/AD), is initiating this long-term, open call for solutions to support the<br />
DoW in advancing the development, demonstration, scaling, testing, procurement, production, fielding, and<br />
sustainment of hardware, software, systems, subsystems, components, materials, manufacturing capabilities,<br />
workforce development, and service solutions that strengthen the defense industrial base and deliver critical<br />
capabilities to the Warfighter. Specifically, the IBG seeks to obtain solutions or potential capabilities that fulfill<br />
requirements, close capability gaps, or provide potential technological advancements. This initiative, entitled<br />
the &ldquo;APEX Arsenal Solutions Marketplace (AASM)&rdquo; will solicit, collect, assess, and curate solutions supporting<br />
critical production and sustainment, commercialization and scaling of emerging technologies, domestic<br />
workforce development, critical materials and components, weapon and space systems, and broader<br />
industrial base readiness, and make those solutions available for procurement through rapid acquisition<br />
pathways.<br />
