The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is planning to issue a solicitation for a national requirements contract for Fentanyl Citrate Injection Solution. Procurement details follow.

Fentanyl (PF) 50 MCG/ML Injection Solution in 1 ML, 2 ML, 5 ML,10 ML, 20 ML and 50 ML in Vials or Ampules, Pack Size of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, and 50. Competition will be restricted to domestic sources (vendors providing Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) and Final Dosage Forms (FDF) manufactured domestically), the procurement will be competed among all qualified domestic manufacturers. The contract will be a firm-fixed price, requirements type contract with a one-year base and four one-year options. A contract resulting from this solicitation will establish a national supply source, in accordance with FAR 52.216-21 (Requirements), to provide the items listed in the schedule for purchase by Department of War (DoW), Department of Veterans Affairs, Indian Health Service and Bureau of Prisons customers through the DLA and VA prime vendor programs. The annual usage estimates will be provided in the Schedule of Supplies section of the solicitation. This is a commercial item and will be solicited using FAR part 12. All sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
