The U.S. Army is gathering small-business capability information for custom GYM-A shirts for the U.S. Military Academy Corps of Cadets.
- **Government buyer:** U.S. Army, U.S. Military Academy (USMA), through MICC-West Point; the specifications identify LRC West Point and USMA West Point.
- **Products and quantities:** Black short-sleeve and long-sleeve GYM-A shirts. The attachments provide differing quantity schedules: one lists 7,200 short-sleeve and 3,600 long-sleeve shirts; the other lists annual quantities of 4,000 short-sleeve shirts with white write-on nameplates, 5,200 regular printed short-sleeve shirts, and 3,900 standard long-sleeve shirts. Quantities and sizes should be confirmed against the governing specifications.
- **Customization and requirements:** Shirts require the Army Gold USMA crest and, for printed versions, cadet last names in specified lettering and placement. The nameplate version has a blank, laundry-durable, marker-friendly white cotton twill patch. Shirts are packaged by cadet and size, with specified box organization and packing lists. Contractor-caused name or size errors require no-cost replacement.
- **Delivery and performance:** The Government supplies cadet names and sizes in batches. Delivery is generally required within 60 days of receiving batch information; replacements are due within 7 days after notification. One attachment specifies an additional delivery deadline for nameplate shirts.
- **OEMs and vendors:** No OEMs, brands, or vendors are named in the notice or attachment summaries. Potential apparel competitors are listed separately.
- **Market research:** The Army seeks information about supplier capability, relevant experience, commercial availability and pricing, delivery and warranty terms, and ways to encourage competition. This is not a request for quotes or proposals; a small-business set-aside may be considered.
